Loa Falkman, Maria Streijffert and Rickard Söderberg in An Evening with Thalia at the Malmö Opera
Malmö Opera presents an operetta evening with a fabulous cast including Rickard Söderberg, Loa Falkman and Maria Streijffert. The Malmö Opera Orchestra is joined by Malmö Opera chorus and soloists led by conductor Cathrine Winnes in the production staged by Elisabeth Linton.
In classical mythology, Thalia was the muse of comedy, but has since the 18th century come to symbolize all the performing arts. In her golden attire, she welcomes everyone who enters Malmö Opera and now she is at the centre of a colourful operetta gala.
The premiere is on Saturday November 30 with further performances until December 31, where the New Year is celebrated with a matine perfomance.
