Christina Nilsson sings Wagner in a gala concert to Celebrate Plácido Domingo’s Career at the Bolshoi in Moscow
Christina Nilsson will for the first time enter the stage of the prestigious Bolshoi Theatre in a gala concert to Celebrate Plácido Domingo’s Career; Plácido Domingo: Life in Opera Gala. The gala will be held on Oct. 24, 2020
In the concert Christina Nilsson is accompanied by a roster of operatic superstars including Anna Netrebko, Pretty Yende, Emily D’Angelo, Piotr Beczala, Yusif Eyvazov, Ildar Abdrazakov, Michael Volle, and Xabier Anduaga. The Bolshoi Theatre Orchestra will accompany the soloists, led by conductor Tugan Sokhiev.
Christina Nilsson will sing Elisabeth’s aria “Dich, teure Halle” from the opera Tannhäuser, and the Duet of the Dutchman and Senta “Wie aus der Ferne... Versank ich jetzt” from the opera Der Fliegende Holländer alongside Michael Volle.
