Christina Nilsson sings Mahler 2 with Alan Gilbert and the NDR Elphilharmonie Orchester!
Christina Nilsson sings the soprano solo in Mahler's second Symphony, the Resurrection Symphony when Chief Conductor Alan Gilbert and the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester in Hamburg opens the 2022/2023 season. The opening night is on September 2 and he second concert on September 3 will be broadcast live on the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra's website and will later be available there. The orchestra and soloists are joined by two magnificent choirs; Rundfunkchor Berlin and the NDR Vokalensemble.
