Daniel Johansson makes double role debuts Siegfried in both Siegfried and Götterdämmerung!
Daniel Johansson will make his double role debut as Siegfried when the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Music Director Fabio Luisi, presents a concert version of Richard Wagner’s complete Der Ring des Nibelungen.
Throughout October, all four parts of the Ring Cycle will be performed, with two concerts of each opera. For the first time, Daniel will sing the role of Siegfried in both Siegfried and Götterdämmerung.
The premiere of Siegfried will take place on October 5, and Götterdämmerung on October 8. Additional performances of Siegfried are scheduled for October 17 and Götterdämmerung for October 20.
