Revival of Reimann's Lear at the Bayerische Staatsoper
The Bayerische Staatsoper presents a revival of their production of Aribert Reimann's Lear from 2021, staged by Christoph Marthaler.
In the role of Lear's sister Regan we hear Erika Sunnegårdh, who previously has performed the role in Calixto Bieito's staging in Florens and Paris. The Bayerisches Staatsorchester is led by Finnish conductor Jukka-Pekka Saraste.
Lear will be played with a total of three performances on January 30 and February 2 and 5.
