Marguerite, a dance with the devil - a new interpretation of Goethe's Faust at the Malmö Opera
Rickard Söderberg stars in Malmö Opera's production of Marguerite, a dance with the devil, built on Goethe's first manuscript of Faust.
Marguerite is created with a new script and new lyrics with music written by female composers through four centuries. Rickard Söderberg, who also performs the role of the Devil, has initiated the production and created the script and lyrics.
The tour opens on February 18 at Kulturhuset Hässleholm with over 25 performances around southern Sweden, playing at the Malmö Opera between March 14-25. The last performance tales place in the new concert hall of RAVINEN in Båstad on April 23.
